White lacecap-like flowers bloom in gorgeous profusion along the branches in late spring - early summer. The branches look like they are covered in snow. Then in autumn the leaves turn a beaut reddish orange just to have a final dance before winter.
‘Mariesii’ is noted for its distinctively layered horizontal branching. It is a broad, dense, multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub that typically matures to an unpruned size approx 2.5 metres in height & spread. Or you just keep it pruned to fit the space you want to grow it in.
Can be planted as a single shrub or is a useful hedge. Very easy to grow. Tolerates most situations.
A spring & autumn stunner for the garden. One of my favourite shrubs.
This is a small grade plant, but more than ready to be planted straight into the garden or spend a summer in a decorative first if you prefer.
